With training camp fast approaching, we thought it would be a good time to showcase some of the UDFA that have a chance to make this roster. The Tennessee Titans are going to look quite different at the tight end position in 2021. It a bit odd to say that considering the No. 1 and 2 players on the current depth chart were Titans in 2020. But the losses of Jonnu Smith and MyCole Pruitt changes things here. Anthony Firkser and Geoff Swaim are back in two-tone blue and appear set to take on bigger roles than they did a year ago. The Titans surprisingly didn draft a tight end, but they signed two undrafted free agents at the position. One of those is Alabama Miller Forristall. Forristall comes in at 6-foot-5 and 244 pounds https://www.tennesseefanstoreonline.com/Bruce_Hector_Face_Mask-294. He has excellent size for the tight end position. Forristall brings some versatility with him. If you look at his body of work at Alabama, Forristall was used both as a pass catcher and as a run blocker. It the type of versatility the Titans lost when Smith signed with the Patriots in free agency. Forristall played in 12 games in 2020 and put up a career best 253 receiving yards on 23 receptions. In 2019, he caught an impressive four touchdowns in just nine games. That was the year that his ability in the red zone was really on display. Forristall leaves the Crimson Tide after appearing in 54 career games. He won several National Championships while playing for Nick Saban. Experience is not a problem here. During draft prep, Forristall impressed in some drills at Alabama pro day, while disappointing in others. On the surface, Forristall projects as a versatile and tough developmental tight end prospect with the potential to stick on an NFL roster due to his ability to catch passes and block in the run game. He has good size for the position and has the ability to become a sneaky weapon while running routes. That the type of profile that the Titans like employing at the position Larrell Murchison Pet Jersey. Forristall may be viewed as an asset in the team zone based running scheme. This is one to really watch in my opinion. One of these undrafted free agents has a great chance to make this roster (wel profile the other UDFA tight end, Briley Moore in the coming days). Firkser and Swaim are the only tight ends guaranteed a roster spot Daren Bates T-Shirt. Will the Titans carry three or four players at the position They carried four a year ago. In addition to Forristall and Moore, second-year player Tommy Hudson and former Vanderbilt legend Jared Pinkney are also battling for roster spots. I like Hudson chances as well. Things are wide open here. I ultimately believe Forristall has a great chance to crack this roster.
