Process Connect Google Home Mini to Wifi
Open the Google Home app on your smartphone.
Touch the + icon in the top left corner of your screen.
Select "Set up device".
Now select the correct "Home". Maybe you only have one called "Home" by default, that's okay.
Press "Next".
If you have disabled "Location Access", you will now be asked for it, as it is used to locate your Nest device. If this does not motivate you, skip this step.
It should start connecting to your Nest device.
If you are using a Nest Mini or Audio your speaker will now play a sound.
On your screen, you'll see it ask you "Did you hear the sound?" if you press "Next" if you do not hear the sound press "Try Again". If this step continues to fail please make sure your Nest speaker is enabled.
We will ask you today if you would like to help improve the Nest Mini / Audio. I pressed "Yes, I'm in". But feel free to press “No thanks”, it won’t have any consequences.
You should now select the appropriate area where you have the Nest device. It will give you several options as “Basement, Bedroom, Living Room and such”. Press "Next" when you select the location.
You should now see a list of all available WiFi that it can connect to. Find your own WiFi at home, tab it and press next.
Enter your WiFi password, the same one you use for connecting to all your other devices. After you enter the password, press next again.
It should now say "Connecting to WiFi". It may take one or two. After a while, it should say "Connected".
